Screening

During this finals session, we will screen final video submissions. The projects submitted show a wide range of approaches to working with visual effects and compositing. We will watch the work in a "screening program" format. After that is concluded, we will take some time to review each work individually with time for each student/group to talk about thier perspective on the finished video and for the group to respond with brief feedback comments.

Generally speaking, there was a wide range of work submitted for Speculative Worlds VFX Project . Each work has a very unique and expressive quality that incorporates both digital and some practical effects. This speaks to the way that video is incorporated into our contemporary visual culture. It is easy to see, based on your projects and assignments that working with time-based media, editing, creating effects, and manipulating video is a skill that can be applied to almost anything. Digital video is around us everywhere - in many different forms, as we see when screening the final project work for this course.
