Compositing Effects

Compositing is an important aspect of working with video in a contemporary media environment. Any time that multiple pieces of visual content are layered or combined then a composite image is created. Compositing is also a large part of visual effects and post-production. For this assignment we will focus on a process of compositing where two or more segments of live action video are combined. Some footage will freeze in time while other footage continues moving in time, creating a scene where the subject is an impossible scenario where one person occupies multiple places at the same time. A related tutorial will be assigned that explores some processes related to composite video with time freeze as a subject.
