ARTSTDIO 377/477 Assignments
Assignment 4
Cinemagraph
This assignment is open for you to create a short looping video in the style of a Cinemagraph. A Cinemagraph is, simply put, a moving photograph and is commonly presented in the form of animated GIF in online contexts. In order to create this type of image, you will be required to generate your own footage and then use processes like masking and rotoscoping to composite moving and still content. It is optional to use a blue or green screen for keying, however they may not be necessary to achieve the natural candid quality of these moving photographs. A related tutorial will be assigned that explores some processes related to creating a Cinemagraph.
