This assignment is open for you to create a short video using recordings of video mixed with live effects or from a digital video synthesizer. You may use pre-recorded videos to mix or generate new video through simple software patches created in MAX/MSP/Jitter. Following our in class demonstrations and assigned tutorials, students will be asked to experiment on their own. After creating a patch, you will record the output as you manipulate the video signal. This recorded mix will be edited in Premiere to restructure and focus your recorded mix. Emphasis and priority will be given to patches that generate footage through video synthesis. Related tutorials will be assigned that explore some processes related to MAX/MSP/Jitter.
