2019 Daily Drawings begin with quick digital sketches sketches that are further modified as 3d models. Once the vector drawing is extruded and sculpted to some extent, there is a material/texture that is applied to its surface. The materials and textures are an opportunity to explore UV and texture mapping. They are generated from photographs of objects, materials, and textures that I find inspiring as I move through the year. The series of daily drawings will be used to generate an animated version of the daily drawings at the end of the year.
